The Lyon County Sheriff’s Department is composed of three entities: Law Enforcement, Dispatch/Communications, and Jail/Detention.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Department is located in Rock Rapids, Iowa. The Sheriff’s Department is responsible for law enforcement in all towns located within Lyon County which include Alvord, Doon, George, Inwood, Larchwood, Lester, Little Rock, Rock Rapids, and the unincorporated towns of Beloit, Edna, Granite, and Klondike.
